Dream Door Update.....

Well it seems we have run into our first oops!!  We bought the new door to go into the new laundry/mudroom that we are making in our little trailer, BUT....we discovered there is NO WAY that a door can go into the wall.  Not enough space :(  I love this door and did not want to take it back, so I quickly came up with a plan.  I decided to switch front doors with the one we had.  For those of you who live, or have ever lived, in a single wide....you know that the lack of windows and the small size of the windows can make a trailer seem small and dark.  That is one of the BIGGEST problems we face...almost the deciding factor in remodeling our abode!!  After much cutting (door is bigger than the previous door) and shivering( 35 degrees with the door off for 2 hours)  we got that baby in!!  I am IMPRESSED!!!  The door looks awesome as a front door and lets some much needed light into our living room(future dining room)!!!   Small delay on the laundry/mudroom...but well worth it.  Now to start tearing out walls!!  Am I too excited or what???

  1. Windows and doors can open up your space and make it bright, airy and spacious. Both play an important part in the overall aesthetic appeal of the house. They are also important in providing utmost comfort to the interior of the house. Anyway, I hope you have been able to find a way to add windows to your space. It’ll surely make it a lot cozier!
